ABOUT OWL & QUILL

Founded in 2017, Owl & Quill is a calligraphy and design studio which specialises in luxurious, bespoke paper goods and services. The brand ‘Owl & Quill’ originates from items from a certain boy wizard’s world; owl post and a quill. Having worked with a wide range of clients, we specialise in on-site events for brand activation and corporate events, wedding stationery and one-of-a-kind commissions. Our expertise and know-how includes traditional and contemporary Western calligraphy.

ABOUT PUI YEE

Pui Yee is a calligrapher and artist based in sunny Malaysia. Initially self taught, she picked up brush lettering and pointed pen calligraphy in 2016 and has never looked back since.

In addition to modern scripts, she continues to study timeless traditional scripts such as Copperplate, Engrosser’s script and Spencerian. She believes there is always room for improvement and continues to hone her skills by attending classes conducted by world-renowned calligraphers. Over the years, Pui Yee and her work has been featured in various print and online publications such as The Wedding Scoop, Nuffnang, Malay Mail and Sin Chew Daily.
